Google Analytics.

What more could you ask for.  Someone please tell me what else you could need? 

I had some initial difficulty placing the php code in the right spot.  The instructions said to place the code right above the <body> tag .  Only one problem there.  I do not have the <body>tag in any of my php files.  Hmmmm…..  I continued my search and found a little more help from Google.  Apparently, you can also place in your footer.php file.  Click here to go to the help page.  It takes about 24 hours before you can view any tracking results.  The tracking options that are offered are impressive.

Why do you need to track this information?  You’re kidding right?  How do you increase your sites traffic if you don’t know what works and what doesn’t?  Great stuff right?
