The Quickest EntreCard Dropping Site Ever!

Posted by Not John Chow | May 20, 2008 .

I just stumbled upon this site: http://entrecard.urgrps.com/ . It displays row upon row of EntreCard widgets to click on. This is the fastest way to earn EC’s that I have found to date. Through this site I earned over 200 EC’s in a matter of minutes.

So, if you want to earn some EntreCard credits go there now.

    Hi…
    Thanks for your supporting.
Great to saw your post here!!

I thought of copying the java code and iframes from peoples pages and slapping on a site like this, but my morals got the better of me. Its definitely a cool idea, but it defeats the purpose of Entrecard and it will kill it if people use it this way.

I got my first 300 drop day earlier today, I visited every site and looked around, it honestly doesn’t take long if your job demands you to be online. Its a nice break from real work.

True, but the problem with EntreCard Credits is that the time spent clicking on them versus the value of the credits makes it not worth too much of your time. I think that these “power dropping” solutions keep more blogs interested.

If you have my card on there, I respectfully request that you remove it ASAP as I don’t want my blog associated with this.

Please know that EntreCard will ban you and anyone using this website will receive penalties to their account, so you aren’t going to get traffic for long.

Again, please remove my widget ASAP.

    Thank you

    Margaret

Margaret…Firstly….those widget will be display on my site only if some one add it in (Might be the site owner/some body simply type in something).
I not add in any others site widgets into it myself. All the widgets are added by others.
Maybe u can give me your id, I will double check for you. If exists, I will remove it.

I’m sorry for being rude or anything, but that site totally gets a big “Booooo” to me!

It’s killing the Entrecard community! I came here because I visited your site to drop my card to you. Or do you prefer me to use that site and not come here at all?

That site is nothing but a farm for dropping. It violates Entrecard’s TOS, and does all Entrecarders harm by devaluing the currency.
Shame on you, and the owner of that site if it isn’t you.

    Dishonesty/cheating sucks!

I think the site encourages more involvement. If it violates the TOS then it should come down.

As far as ruining EntreCard? “Power Droppers” want EC’s to advertise and buy services from the EntreCard Site.

    More involvement not less.

  9. bbr May 21, 2008 10:55 am

Powerdroppers either sell credits on ebay, or use it to inflate prices which will drive newer users away.

The idea behind entrecard is that you discover new blogs by visiting different sites to drop your card and read their first blog post.

Sites like the one you linked directly go against both these matters. They reduce the community value, they inflate prices, and they force people to either join in to be competitive for advertisement prices or quit dropping altogether.

Either way, the admins have been notified of the site in question as you may already have gathered.

I don’t give a rip about HOW my widget got there, I want it OFF. I didn’t and never would have asked for it to be included. I think you need to contact site owners before you do this kind of thing in the future, but I know why mine was added — because my widget is right at the top of my page and for no other reason.

This site gives me zero in the way of anything I joined EntreCard for which is visitors and commentators. EC credits are a very distant secondary effect of belonging to the community, but evidently YOU DON’T GET IT.

I would say you’re not the kind of blogger EntreCard is targeted towards serving and you just need to resign from it. It’s like exercise — no pain, no gain.

    Thanks

    Margaret

    bbr,

I think you are stereotyping a little bit too much. I am not much of a power dropper mostly because it takes too much time. If I had a lot of credits I would advertise more. As it is I give most away as contest prizes. I have seen the EC;s on eBay and that is a fraction of the number of EC users out there.

    Margaret,
First off, thank you for expressing your opinion. Please remember that it is your opinion and not the only opinion.

Second, please also remember that it is not my site, I am only expressing my opinion. If your EntreCard widget is on the site, I didn’t put it there. Please contact EarnEntreCredit directly.

Thirdly, I find your analogy faulty. I think that you need to work smart, not hard. I receive most of my credits from those who want their widget on my site and not by clicking on different sites.

Lastly, you should know that I picked this topic because it is controversial and will generate comments, which it did.

No matter what EarnEntreCredit does, I doubt that it will hurt EntreCard for no reason other than that EntreCard has grown bigger than all of us and will continue to grow under excellent leadership. I get it Margaret.

The whole system is flawed. I use it because it does no harm, but for those people who are on some sort of crusade to defend the honor of Entrecard, that dropping website was no different to compiling a list of Entrecard sites and then visiting them daily just to drop the card. Entrecard has no solution for this. It’s their fault for making a flawed product.

Yes, it is flawed but, I commend them for their efforts. It is difficult to see how people will use something that you create. I am sure that their origional vision is different from the reality.
