Not John Chow Saves by Not Spending - Part 2 - Costco
I usually go to Costco for cheap gas. Like Sam’s Club, Costco has some great prices.
If you buy enough gas and other bulk items, Coscto can be worth the cost of membership:
I also save money at Costco by buying my lunch there. They have several options for a cheap lunch. One of my favorites is the Polish Sausage (or hot dog) and a Drink for $1.50. I usually add a desert item of a Churro (sugary pastry) for $1.00 or Berry Sundae for $1.65.
There are many other choices as well which include sandwiches or pizza slices that are fairly cheap as well. Again, my goal is to spend less than five dollars on lunch each day.
The point is that the less money you spend on eating out, the more money you have for other things. Spending less will improve you financial status in the long run. The sooner you curb your spending, the sooner you will reap the benefits.
Do you spend more than you should?
Not John Chow Saves by Not Spending - Part 1 - Baja Fresh
It isn’t how much money you make, its how much money you keep.
I have to admit that I hate packing lunches. If I do pack a lunch I usually end up leaving it on the counter on the way out of the house. If I remember the lunch, I usually forget to grab my computer or my work badge.
I have often found that I can spend less than five dollars on lunch if I take a closer look around town.
Baja Fresh has an option that I have found reasonable.
I order the the soup! It is a chicken tortilla soup. While I wait I munch on some of the free chips and salsa. Here is a picture of the chips, sauce, salsa (mostly tomatoes), hot peppers and if you want some cilantro. I drink water with it because its free and it is better for you.
When the soup arrives I load it up with crumbled up chips and tomatoes.

When I am done with the soup I get a refill on the chips and throw them into the bowl. Then I add more tomatoes and sauce. All of this adds up to $3.66 which includes the tax.
If soup is not your thing then come back on a Tuesday with a friend. On Tuesdays you can get two chicken burritos for six dollars.
Either way lunch is under five dollars.
What do you do to save money?
Not John Chow - How to Lose a Girl Friend
This post is the flip side of Alex Shalman’s post on John Chow entitled “How to Get a Girl Friend.”
I am unsure of how this relates to John Chow making money online so I suggest that he lose the Girl Friend post.
Here is how to loose a Girl Friend:
1. Stop bathing
2. Routinely talk about your strongly held alquida religous beliefs
3. Take hear to Hooters for her birthday
4. Tell her that you are looking forward to getting married so that she can take care of your fifteen illegitimate children.
5. Offer to teach her how to fart the toon Yankee Doodle Dandy.
I apoligize for being vulgar. Please forgive me.

EntreCard Sells Out!
Hey, don’t yell at me I didn’t say it Peter Morrow said it!
Not that I disagree! Peter wrote a nice post about how EntreCard is now selling credits. Isn’t this what a few of you complained about in some of my recent posts on the subject? Check out the heat that was given when I wrote about a site that made it easy to click quickly on EntreCard ads.
