Just like M.C. Escher has created perpetual motion in his art, WordPress has made it possible to have your blog run on automatic; perpetually.  This can be done manually by hand picking your favorite old posts or you can use the plugin Old Post Promoter.  So, if you are particularly proud of a piece of literature that you have produced and would like to expose it to a wider audience. With Old Post Promoter you can write a bunch of posts and then set your blog on automatic and let it run, perpetually.

Interesting plugin. We all have some interesting posts which took us a tremendous amount of time to write but because you wrote them shortly after you started to get visitors no one will read them. This plugin is great for this purpose.

You have an option to retain the old date or to have it publish a new date. I am using it on another site.

  3. Have you tested this plugin already? I’m just thinking what will happen on the timestamp of the post, will it be updated too?

    any comments?
