My Night Job

Posted by John Haley | November 7, 2007 .

In my life’s quest to make more money I have a few interuptions from time to time.  There is my day job which takes up a big chunk of time and then there is my night job.  My night job includes all of the usual Dad jobs of helping with homework, fixing broken things, and being the back up Mom.  Tonight my wife was not feeling well so, I had to fill in.  I don’t mind doing it, but I am no where as good at it as she is.  So tonight I cooked a spaghetti dinner with Dad’s special sauce and I baked an apple pie for desert.  I spent some time watching TV with my son and then I spent about an hour trying to learn a little bit about css and php.  Not much luck there.  If anyone has a good resource please let me know.  Thanks in advance.

Hey, I feel you. I’m a dad as well, and this blogging thing is a lot of work, the learning curve can be steep at times.

What can I do to help? I like your blog idea, but you know John Cow already took the spot for Chow’s secondary image.

If you want I could do a review of your blog and post it on my site, if you have the courage. ;)

Not John Chow, haha. Hey, we have a few things in common and that means I like you already. ;)

Roofing, I am a roofer for 7 years.

Magazines, my newest business is related.

Detroit, most of my wifes American cousins are there, and she’s from Canada near Windsor.

    Isn’t that the coolest?
