Make Money Selling Artifacts

My job is not keeping up with my bills. My 401k is either going sideways or down. Not enough money is coming in from Adsense.

Then I saw a story about how a Ming Dynasty Vase sold at auction for over $10 Million! Here it is. Isn’t Beautiful?

So I dug up some research on the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and discovered that this period of Chinese history provided the world with numerous pieces of of porclean art. The Ming vase is the most well known of this art.

After much debate, I decided to purchase my own authentic Ming Vase as an investment. I do not expect to get as much as $10 million but, I hope to make a healthy profit.

You may ask “how do I know that my vase is authentic?” This is a good question as you need to be careful to avoid cheap imitations. This is where it is important to either be an expert in the area or have access to an expert.

Most Ming vases have clear markings on the bottom that clearly indicate their true value. A look at this photo of my vase will help you to understand how to tell a fake from a genuine artifact.

Okay, I know nothing about Ming Vases! Which should remind you that you should stick with what you know! If you want to make money at blogging, you need to create content about something you know. That is why I do not have a blog about Ming Vases.

My Ming vase? I made it when I was younger. It sat in my room waiting for someone to pick it up and look at the bottom. I was not disappointed. I knew my sister would do exactly that and she did. We all had a good laugh but, I do admit it was a long way to go for a joke.
