EntreCard Top Ten Sucks or Sucess?

I was searching the web for “top ten” links to EntreCard this week and other than “the top ten droppers” on this site or that, the two that stuck out to me was Steve Wilson Marketing’s “EntreCard Sucks Top Ten” and Tech Net News’ “10 Entrecard Traffic Tips for Success.”

Steve makes some interesting points like the low quality of the traffic which drives up your bounce rate and ugly default images.

Tech News gives tips on how to make the most of EntreCard. He gives 10 tips to help you use the system to increase your traffic.

The question still remains: is any traffic good traffic.  Is EntreCard Traffic good traffic.  As EntreCard droppers fly from site to site dropping cards at lightening speed, do they really help your site by merely boosting your statistics artificially? Should you follow Tech News’ tips and boost this traffic or should you drop EntreCard to avoid the decreasing bounce rate of your site.  Here is what John Cow thinks.

I think that EntreCard traffic is great for us new comers to the scene, but I also think that as our sites grow, we will grow beyond EntreCard.  We will grow up, just like all children grow up and into adulthood.

   That’s where having good content on your blog works. Write something that catches the persons eye.

   EntreCard doesn’t suck as long as you are creative with your blogging.
