EntreCard Sucks! No Really!

Posted by Not John Chow | October 27, 2008 .

I have fallen behind in my blogs of late and have discovered that EntreCard canceled some of my blog accounts. I am not upset about the cancellations.  I am upset that they did not forward my remaining EC’s into my main account.  Didn’t I earn those credits?  And while I am complaining, why do I have to pay a few to transfer credit?

As EntreCard continues to bog down the options they rapidly begin to become just another social networking site.  Very disappointing.  As I look around the EC site I have begun to see many of the more popular sites dropping out.  This is a sure sign that the end is near!

Do you still use EntreCard?  Do you get you want from it? Or does the widget take up valuable space.  What do you think?

I find it is best to save up the EC’s and then have a blitz advertising campaign.

I use entrecard to advertise on other blogs but i don’t think it brings me much traffic. It is useful for discovering new blogs though-I wouldn’t have found you if it wasn’t for entrecard! I have to be careful though as it can be a big time waster and for a procastinator like me, it’s an easy way out of doing real work.

In my time at Entrecard I’ve also seen the ‘leasders come and go’ I still use it, but im pretty busy so a rarely have time to work on my blog let alone drop cards.
I have a inactive blog on entrecard, guess i should get the credits off of it before they cancel it. Thanks for the warning on that

I don’t use EntreCard near as much as I did when I first joined it. I guess it was more of a novelty to me then. The only reason I still have it on my site now is so that I can continue to earn credits and advertise on other blogs.
And by the way, they also cancelled one of my other blog accounts, which they finally reactivated after I e-mailed them. I corrected the problem and then they reinstated my account and I also got all of my earned credits back.
