Has this happened to you? I went to log into one of my EntreCard accounts the other day (actually, it was over a month ago) and much to my surprise I was unable to log in. I double and triple checked my user name and password. I check CAPS LOCK and I even checked to see if my fingers were shifted on the keyboard. Nope. I then looked at the login screen, noticed the “Help” button. I clicked and I searched for login help. I couldn’t find it and I don’t think it exists. I then logged into another EntreCard account and sent a message to the EntreCard support team and asked them for help. When I did not get a message back, I went ahead and created a new account with the same log in information and a new widget. It works now, but I never heard back.
This is help that is no help. EntreCard needs to work on this area of “help” if they want to survive in the long run.
I want the increased traffic for my blog and my RSS feed, but I don’t want the hassle. Maybe this is why sites like John Cow and John Chow have dismissed EntreCards value.

Remember it’s one person running the show. The internet isn’t just companies anymore … it’s individuals.
One thing I will say is that John Chow lives by the statement that you can’t put all your eggs in one basket. You need to have many forms of income and traffic not just one. Ecard is just a form of traffic and has brought my site a good amount of traffic of which I am really satisfied with … it’s also increased my subscriber database.
John Chow doesn’t use EntreCard but that doesn’t mean that he has had a bad experience with EntreCard or doesn’t think it is resourceful. I think I am going to ask him what his stance is on EntreCard. It would be great to know his thoughts.
Perhaps, EntreCard has gotten too big for one person.
