Earlier today I was blessed with a visit from one of the top ranked Make Money Online bloggers. That’s right Dosh Dosh has graced us with her presence on the Not John Chow blog with a comment on one of my posts: Banned by John Chow First Google and Now This! Whereas this post was clearly link bait, apparently Dosh Dosh has taken offense. Here is the one and only comment that Dosh Dosh has ever left on my blog:
Here is the last pathetic comment that I have left on the Dosh Dosh blog:
Here is the post that I left it on:
I ask you, was this a pathetic remark? Was this spamming? To help you in forming your opinion here are a few dictionary definitions courtesy of Dictionary.com:

Pathetic? I thought that my remark was praise! Spam? I thought that having a comment form at the end of a post means that comments are welcome. Was my comment unsolicited?
I can understand that Dosh Dosh has an opinion about my blog. I actually encourage people to form their own opinions. Even if they do not get the sarcasm that I spew forth in parody. What I don’t understand is how a highly respected expert in the Internet marketing / make money online arena can resort to name calling of those of us who are far below them on the list of fame. Perhaps all that money goes to their head? I don’t know. What do you think?
After reading the Dosh Dosh remarks I sought out more enlightenment by reading the Dosh Dosh Comment policy. The link to the comment policy can be found here.
Here is the basic policy (please click the link above for the full policy):
“All comments on DoshDosh.com are moderated and the administrators have the right to edit, delete, and block any and all inappropriate or unnecessary comments on this blog, as they see fit. All visitors must abide by the following rules:
If your comment does not show up immediately, it may have been automatically flagged by the spam filter or it may have been placed in moderation. Sometimes it may take a while before I approve all the comments so wait a while more and check back.
Please note that your comment will not be deleted just because you share a different opinion. I honestly welcome criticism of any sort and do not avoid them by censoring comments. So feel free to comment but make sure that you abide by the rules listed above.”
One thing that we agree on is that we accept criticism. I do not include within the definition of criticism name calling. Perhaps Dosh Dosh is just overreacting on a bad day. One future correction I will make is that I will no longer comment on the Dosh Dosh blog as it is clear that my pathetic spam comments are not welcome there.
One last note. Here was my pathetic response to Dosh Dosh’s comment:

I am willing to believe that even a professional has a bad day from time to time. For me the distinction is that most professionals do not express their bad days in writing.
As far as the comment spamming remarks, I find it odd that in this particular case Maki did not even read the post. Or at least I think that Maki did not understand the post because it was not to be taken seriously. So I ask you, who is the Pathetic Comment Spammer?
