Day 2 – Calm Before the Storm

Well, I made through Day One without too many bruises!  I also have a new found respect for all those coders and bloggers that have travelled here before me.  Thank you for developing the tools that make this all possible. 

When I started I was too impatient.  I should have taken more care in installing the software. 

Things are starting to work better today and I am more optimistic that I can meet the challenge set before me.  This of course means that there is a HUGE storm just beyond the horizon getting ready to pound me into oblivion!  Oh well, such is life.  If it was easy, everyone would be doing it.

So, now I have WordPress installed on my other website:  www.start-run-win.com and will soon be posting there as well.  Some of my friends think that I am crazy jumping into two blogs at once, but I just figure that I will learn that much faster.  I was wrong. I should have worked out the bugs of the first blog before starting the second.

I also am finding my way around the DreamHost and WordPress Dashboards which is helping me out a great deal.

If you want to learn how to blog, be more patient than I am and spend a day familiarizing yourself with the Dashboard tools before you get started.

Now I think that I earned a day off.
