It’s the start of the month and that means it’s time to find out how much Not John Chow dot Com made for the month of November, my first month of blogging. I hope that some day, the income report will become as popular of a post as it is on John Chow’s site.
As I am aspiring to become successful, somewhat, like John Chow, I am starting my own case study to see if money can be made by the average guy that does not have the benefit of Mr. Chow’s previous experience.
Before this month, Not John Chow dot Com did not exist. I came across John Chow dot Com and begun to wonder if it was possible for someone like me, to learn what was necessary to succeed as John has done.
So, here is where I am at:
Total Blog Income for November 2007: $0.59
If, as John Chow says, “November is traditionally the best month for making money on the Internet,” I have a rough road ahead. Of course, like John Chow, this was “certainly the best month this blog has ever experienced.”
Grand Total: $0.59
Blog traffic was 961 page views from 395 visitors, according to Google Analytics. That comes out to be $0.0015 per page view. That is impressively unimpressive.
I plan to continue following John Chow’s advice. I will continue to experiment with different methods of monetization. I will also follow his advice and will continue to tweak my blog and continue to keep moving. Since, I am still learning here, I recommend that you follow John Chow’s money making strategy.
Blog expense for the month include $30.42 for hosting with DreamHost and for the purchase of two domain names, one of which is unrelated to this project, so I would put Not John Chow dot Com’s blog expenses at $20.42 for the month.

Unlike John Chow. I do expect to beat the November income this month. It would be hard not to.
